With tasting notes of juicy red berries, pinot noir, & a multi-dimensional acidity, this coffee is one you wouldn’t want to miss out on.

About Kraig Lee & the Kona Mokka Varietal
For more than 26 years, Kraig and Leslie Lee have been growing, processing and roasting fine Kona coffee on the slope of Mt. Hualalai. Today, their 4.7-acre farm is home to an amazing lineup of rare coffee varietals, including Laurina Pointu, SL34, Geisha, and their famous Mokka.
Although he’s a licensed agricultural real estate agent, Kraig’s main passion is producing amazing Kona coffee. His knowledge in coffee is apparent and he currently mill and processes coffee for multiple farmers based here in Kona. During harvest seasons, we’ve heard that he pulped and processed thousands of pound of local farmers in a day which is absolutely insane.
The Kona Mokka is a rare and highly sought after mutant of the Bourbon varietal. Due to its small size and less than average crop yield, most farmers on the island try to steer away from planting the Mokka. From what we know, only Hula Daddy Farm, another farm based in Holualoa, consistently harvest and process the Mokka. This rare varietal, paired with a natural processing and the addition of champagne yeast, resulted in an exceptional coffee that is complex, sweet and multi-dimensional. Slurping this coffee on the cupping table, we can clearly see why this coffee took 1st Place at the 2022 KONA COFFEE FESTIVAL CLASSIC DIVISION. It is such as treat to have this coffee in our inventory for the time being and thank Kraig for being kind enough to share this lot with us.
